Don’t have any photographs of any big Hammerheads caught off the Joker. There is often a wad of them over the Hannibal Bank, you can see them while freediving. They must be aware our baits, and don’t care, I suppose preferring to feed at night, or they just don’t feed when schooling.

Once in a while, they take a marlin bait on the Hannibal Bank. And when one bites, good chance we will get bit by another one. We don’t want one. Big and powerful but very slow and steady. It’s just a heavy dull pull on the line, waste of a good bait and waste of valuable marlin fishing time.
