Sunday
Afternoon private flight to Isla Coiba. Departure depends on your arrival time into Panama. You may have spent Saturday night in Panama City, in which case your private flight departs around noon if you wish. Once on Coiba we may go snorkeling off a little island near camp, kayak fishing, monkey hunting, or get right down to drinking, smoking & eating.

Monday
Coffee delivered to your room at 5:00 am. Breakfast to go, depart crack of dawn, 6:00 am. A vast world of extraordinary fishing begins when we turn the corner from camp. Typically this is marlin day, so we catch bait first and run to the Bank. We’ll be the first if not only, sportfish boat on the Hannibal Bank.

On way back to camp we typically make stops along Isla Coiba and use left over marlin baits to catch big cubera snapper, roosterfish & almaco jacks. Return to camp after 5:30 pm. You’ll have an hour and half of daylight left to swim, snorkel, or fish from kayaks. You may want to walk the jungle trail and see howler & capuchin monkeys. Typically its’ happy hour with Johnny Black, Grey Goose and Rum on the beach served with hour-devours.

Tuesday
Sit down breakfast if you wish, or take it with you, we depart again at 6:00 am. Catch bait and decide what you want to do first. Wahoo? Roosters? Marlin? Tuna? or all of the above and then some. It’s normal to catch 15 or more species in a day. We can fish till dark if you want. Best time for big cubera snapper is the hour before sundown. If we fish late, we depart that much later the next morning.

Wednesday
If we fished till dark yesterday, we’ll leave before 8:00 a.m. today, otherwise crack of dawn. Mornings around the camp are filled with wildlife, the snorkeling right outside your door is outstanding and recommended. Cubera, goliath grouper, rays, eels, sharks, roosters and all sorts of other fish are commonly seen a short swim away.
We may run to Isla Jicaron & Jicarita to live bait for Black Marlin in the morning and pull lures for Blue Marlin in the afternoon. These islands are extraordinarily beautiful and very seldom visited. Excellent fishing for cubera, wahoo and almaco jacks as well. While returning to camp we may troll the coast of Coiba for multiple species. Chances are we’ll have a large live bait off the outrigger nearest shore and will get attacked by big roosterfish, cubera or even a tarpon.

Thursday
Out by crack of dawn, drop bait rigs in the water and get started. Maybe we’ll fish black marlin off Isla Montousa, go straight to the Bank (most reliable) back down to Jicaron / Jicarita marlin fishing. Or maybe you just want to catch as many fish as possible and we don’t run at all. We can troll, cast, jig or bottom fish everywhere and consistently catch fish. We can realistically catch 20 - 30 species in a day by not running, just fishing. And some of these fish are going to be world class trophies. The boat is loaded daily with lots of American beer, canned sodas, bottled water, tasty lunches and snacks. Since this is the last fishing day, we can fish till dark for a full thirteen hour day. You are going to catch a lot of fish if that’s what you want or you will have your black marlin before it’s over. I want everyone on the boat to have caught at least one big black marlin. This is why we are here really. It’s all about the Black Marlin.

Friday
The plane will be here to pick you up whenever you say. If staying in Panama City Friday night sounds good to you, the plane will pick you up after noon, we'll have our driver meet the plane and bring you to your hotel. If you want to catch a flight home, we’ll have the plane here as early as 7:00 am. landing you at the international airport before 8:30 am to meet your flight back. We hire a VIP airport service with upscale private lounge for you to relax in while the ladies facilitate your departure, then escort you past lines to the boarding gate.
